Calling all Senior Manufacturing individuals!! Marine Resources are working with a leading brand within the world of luxury yachts, based on the South Coast. Famed for their range of high quality products, contemporary styling and being one of the leisure marine sectors largest employers, this brand is currently filling its order book well into 2019. With a growing workforce and increasing product to build, there is a need to streamline production within the business through both Business Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering. With material costs going up, there is a need to reduce wastage and better utilise manpower. The role of Manufacturing Engineering Manager is a key one. Tasked with reviewing and overhauling production process, this position will look into reducing cost, labour and wastage across the various internal production lines. Working on both small and large scale projects that can climb all the way to multi-million board level programmes, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be a born leader, a keen motivator and most of all a technical master when it comes to rolling out new process. Alongside the process works, this role will also step into equipment and machinery planning, always with an eye on improving overall process. As an individual you will come from a background in Manufacturing Engineering, ideally within a large scale manufacturing environment such as marine, aerospace or automotive. You'll be used to working with a large workforce both in an advisory and delegatory capacity. Strong technical knowledge will be key, along with a strong grasp of CAD. Excellent production experience with the likes of DFMEA/FMEA/APQP will be essential.
