The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights is committed to promoting the growth of Marine Apprenticeships in order to sustain the high level of competency in marine skills through the generations. Over the last three years the Company has established partnerships with Lloyd’s Register Foundation and British Marine to successfully boost apprenticeships and training opportunities throughout the marine industry. The Shipwright’s Apprenticeship Scheme has a proven track record of success, but with recent radical positive changes to the world of apprenticeships and the opportunities this is creating, there is plenty more to do.
