Head of Service/Regional Service Manager - Asia

A Regional Service Manager/Head of Service is required to join one of Asia's most prominent recreational boating brands. As main agents for a number of leisure yacht and superyacht brands, not to mention a busy used brokerage aswell, this business has been growing year on year since its inception to become one of the go-to names for yacht owners in Asia. Offering unrivalled support for purchase, aftersales, service and warranty the business is known for their customer service worldwide. Due to the aforementioned growth, the business is at a stage where it needs to bring in a senior manager to oversee its in-country service centres from more of a strategical and commercial standpoint. Reporting into the overall General Manager, this post will have direct reports from each in-country service site. Duties for the role will include: - Ongoing review of service as a department and each site as a standalone to ensure profitability - The provision of regular training to managers to maintain up to date industry and product knowledge - Commercial planning, evolving existing revenue streams and creating new ones to increase overall business unit profit - Strategic planning - Working with sales, marketing, aftersales and brand management to maintain and grow brand profile across the Asia region This key role will see you join a well established brand and be given a chance to evolve your career in a busy market. In terms of your background and personality, the role will suit a self starter, looking to move from a similar role elsewhere in the world and keen to build a career in Asia. Having been involved either with a Sales Franchisee or with the manufacturer direct, you career will have begun at technician level, building your skillset and understanding from the ground up before then progressing to management. You'll need to be commercially astute and able to identify profit-making projects, but also have a keen eye for customer service where you'll be able to deal both directly and indirectly with your customer base. Of interest but not essential would be experience working to set up a new service facility/facilities, as would experience working in the Asia region.
