FF&E Project Manager - Superyacht

Are you passionate about the world of design and thrive on running a project from start to finish? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knowledge of the luxury market that will allow you to source only the best for your client? One of the leaders of Interior Design, with a huge portfolio of both large yacht and residential projects to their name and a history of providing deisgns that surpass expectation, is seeking an FF&E Specialist to join their team and in order to own the FF&E process from start to finish. From initial client meeting you will work with the design team to make the clients dream a reality, using your knowledge base to suggest and inspire ideas that compliment the overall interior design project, whilst wowing the client through your understanding of their brief. You'll then deisgn, specify and source products from around the world, using your network of contacts and encyclopedic knowledge in order to ensure quality is of the highest standard whilst cost is negotiated hard. Finally you'll travel on a regular basis to the shipyard or property to oversee and manage the installation of your work, leading to final sign off and release. Your seamless management style will have led the entire process and will work in synergy with the existing team to create interiors that both stun and impress. To be considered for this role you will need to exhibit the following traits: - Extensive FF&E experience, through design, source and negotiation - A black book of contacts that will give you limitless possibilities - Project management - From that initial client meeting through to final sign-off, the ability to totally dominate your area of the overall project. Detail, timekeeping and multi-tasking are essential - Man Management - Whilst you will be running the FF&E process, you will likely be hiring a small team to assist you, both in design and in procurement - Dedication - If you're seeking a 9-5, thi isnt the role for you. These projects can and will require you to work above and beyond a 40-hour week, with visits to suppliers, shipyards and client offices all likely, including at weekends. However your harrd work will all pay off when you are able to show off the finished project.
