Brand Overlay Event Manager An experienced Brand Overlay Manager is required to join the events team of a successful sports branding company based on the South Coast. The business provides branding predominantly across the marine industry and for huge clients who compete at the highest levels of sailing across the globe. The successful candidate will have previous experience of having managed large sponsored brand overlays of substantial events (be it sporting, corporate or festival). This role is client facing and the Brand Overlay Manager will need strong communication skills and have the ability to project manage large scale event set up. This is a hands on role so you will need to be in good physical fitness and on-site at all events to put up and then take down all signage and branding. Enthusiasm is key! Based near Southampton, you will spearhead the event services sector within the company, building and maintaining customer relationships old and new and ensure that the event products and services of the company are sold effectively. You will ultimately be responsible for organising and delivering successful events, ensuring that deadlines are met and above all else ensuring that we have very happy customers. Responsibilities: • Receive & process enquiries and provide quotations for new & existing event clients • Maintain the database of clients within the CMS system • Work in conjunction with our in-house design team to provide proposals and proof documentation to clients • Attend meetings, seminars, conferences and trade shows as the role demands • Travel to events in the UK and abroad as the role demands • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of the company's products & services to up sell where possible • Build and maintain ongoing working relationships with clients • Conduct site surveys as required for proposals/projects and obtain technical information to provide to the install team during the planning and event setup stages • Work in conjunction with the Installs Manager to schedule the workforce to deliver successful events • Where applicable, book logistics such as accommodation & travel for the event delivery team • Be responsible for hiring/purchasing of equipment and any other items required for projects • Obtain permits to work and produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) • Communicate RAMS to the event delivery team and ensure that procedures are adhered to on site • Be the point of contact on site for the client to ensure smooth installation • Be hands-on and assist the event delivery team where necessary • Undertake post-project debrief externally with clients and suppliers and internally with event delivery team & senior management to identify learning points and new opportunities • Assist with new business generation by targeting existing clients for additional work and identifying opportunities for new business • Take completion photographs for sign-offs and company records • Work with or on behalf of the Marketing Manager as appropriate to take photos suitable for use in social media and future marketing Job Type: Full-time Salary: Dependent on experience Essential: 3 years’ event set-up experience To apply: Please 'Apply' by submitting your CV here, or for further information contact Clare on +44 (0)2380 633399 or email
