A Sales Support role has become available for a leading UK marine brand name specializing in sailing hardware. Based in their head office, in Southampton, you will be an integral part of an innovative and dynamic sales team. You will primarily be responsible for delivering excellent Customer Service and supporting both the Internal and External Sales Team in promoting and increasing sales of products and services. You will be required to maintain good working relationships with all customers, building on these for the long term and helping to drive sales activity. This role will suit a hard-working and career minded individual who wants to combine their passion for sailing with their professional ambitions. If you can present a friendly and helpful manner at all times and enjoy working within a driven team environment this is a very exciting opportunity! Duties include sales order processing and reporting, customer communication through a network of dealers, distributors and direct clients worldwide, various sales/marketing projects (including attendance at UK boat shows) and other general office duties. Essential: • General marine knowledge and a passion for sailing or watersports is desirable • Strong communication and presentation skills • Computer literate, experienced in Microsoft Office • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Ambitious and driven, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude Salary - £17,000 + benefits.
