Are you a skilled Boatbuilder/Engineer, keen to work with some of the best in the business with regular international travel? One of the leading UK boatbuilders, based in Hampshire, are seeking a highly skilled individual to join them as an Aftersales & Field Engineer. With a passion for building incredible craft for use worldwide, the company manufacture in house to a very high standard and are known in the industry for build an exceptional product. However, with regular use at sea, there will always be a need for Aftersales support either for repair or warranty works. This is a rare and exciting role for the right individual and will include the following duties: - International Aftersales support to the existing fleet - Repair, servicing and warranty works on a range of craft - Work with composites, carpentry, electrical and mechanical parts - Basic reporting to either third party suppliers or to HQ - Working on new craft build when not travelling No two days will be the same with this role. One day you'll be building a boat in the marina and the next you'll be travelling to exclusive destinations worldwide to work on customer vessels. As an individual first and foremost you'll need to be flexible. Travel will be regular and at short notice, with trips likely lasting 48-72 hours. You'll bring a very broad skillset across composites, electrical, mechanical and interiors and be able to diagnose and fix a range of problems yourself, or at worst, source a suitable third party to assist. Relevant experience within the luxury marine world is essential! In terms of package, whilst based in the UK, you will be paid an hourly rate of £18-20/hr, however will be paid an uplift for any international travel. It is expected that your annual income as such would equate to £42-48,000.
