An experienced administrator is required to join a thriving Marine business on the River Hamble. The ideal candidate will have previously held a role of selling services (ideally marine engineering services) and co-ordinating the activity. If you are experienced at scheduling multiple time slots, invoicing, answering customer queries and have a genuine passion for the marine industry this could be just the role for you. Marine Engineering Service Department Administrator Job involves and requires: Scheduling Engineering Work in onto a weekly planner. Preparing and issuing Estimates. Preparing parts required for engineering jobs that are carried out by Technicians. Booking and removing parts to job cards as required. Collecting Technicians labour time and adding to job for invoicing. Purchasing non stocked parts for Service Department. Issuing out specialist tools, consumables and clothing. Preparing and Issuing Invoices. Taking payment for deposits and invoices as per Company payment terms. Dealing with customers directly. Processing manufactures Warranty claims. Knowledge of engines and their associated components is required. Experience of working in a well-stocked and busy parts department is required. Ensuring Technicians Vans are serviced and arrange MOTs. Marine specific product, service department sales system training will be provided. Hours of Work: 8.00 to 5.00 Monday to Thursday (0.50 each day paid at time and half over time rate) 8.00 to 4.30 Friday 9.00 to 12.00 one Saturday every 3 weeks (paid at time and a half overtime rate) Rate of Pay, Pension and Holiday Entitlement Salary –£25k per annum Company Pension Scheme contribution. 28 days of paid (8 hours) holiday. 6 month performance related bonus payment based on Department Sales.
