Boat Sales Manager - £40,000 OTE (uncapped)

Marine Resources are working with a specialist New Boat and Brokerage company in Hampshire to hire an experienced Sales Manager. Uncapped commission, enviable work environment, state of the art marina facilities and the flexibility to buy and sell any RIB or hard based power boat. This is an exciting time to join the evolving and modern business. Sales experience at a power boat brokerage is advantageous, specifically selling RIBs or hard based power crafts. Your role will include selling new RIBS and Hard based boats, as well as expanding the brokerage sales division. You will work alongside a sales team that are passionate about providing a first class customer experience. As well as high end, customer service each member of the JBT Group are passionate about powerboating and the marine industry. Responsibilities: • To be smart and presentable at all times • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers • Use own technical knowledge to liaise with external companies who are required to carry out works on our behalf • To maintain agreed stock levels of used RIBs via private purchase/trade/part exchanges/brokerage and preparing for sale • Prospect and contact potential customers • Reach agreed upon individual and team sales and call targets by the deadline • Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and varied hours as and when required on a rota and TOIL basis. • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments • To ensure sales listings are up to date and accurate, including, the Company website, Blog, third party websites and other agreed medium. • To record and report on all enquiry/sales activity on a regular weekly basis • Following company operations procedures and reporting to the Office Manager • To help organise and attend boat shows and related events and exhibitions as agreed • To ensure you achieve the highest standards of customer service standards in line with Company policies Qualifications: • An interest in boating and proven experience a must • Previous experience in sales • Familiarity with CRM platforms • Ability to build rapport with clients • Strong negotiation skills • Deadline and detail-oriented • Must have excellent customer service skills Based on the South coast; this is a very varied role, you will respond to enquiries and offer solutions to drive company revenue, with the potential to earn excellent, uncapped commissions.
