Sunseeker International lead the market for producing luxury motoryachts, with a worldwide presence covering in excess of 150 countries supplying a truly international customer base. With a product range of up to 155ft, all manufactured in house here in the UK, they represent one of the largest UK employers in the leisure market. Trading in a market where products start at close to £500,000 there is always to be a requirement for every boat leaving the factory to uphold a particular standard of quality, from the stitching on the seating to the finish on the brightwork. Customers will always have a keen eye for detail and a desire for perfection, echoing the company 'Seek More' motto A vacancy has arisen within the Supplier Quality (SQA) department for a Suplier Quality Manager. Heading up the Supplier Quality team, this role will be key in the development of processes and standards within the business, ensuring that the business continues to develop its quality brand persona across the market.Driving your team within their respective areas of the business using a host of KPIs, you'll use a wealth of quality implimentation and management tools in order to ensure new products are rolled out at 100%, exceeding the high standards of the buying customer. Using tools such as APQP and PPAP, you'll create standardised process across the board, guiding both internal and external factors to create a top class product. Both internal and external factors will be reviewed and audited, with resolutions found through the work of you and your team. As an individual you will be used to managing a SQ team within a manufacturing environment, leading them through the entire process either from scratch or through a new implimentation of quality standards. You'll be degree educated in an engineering discipline and be well versed with a range of Lean and continuous improvement tools.
