Working between the Sunseeker Electrical Design Team and Operations, you will cover all design and production aspects relating to the application of 'Lifestyle Electronic System Innovation' in Sunseeker Yachts with the aim of providing a peerless customer experience. Example Responsibilities: - Use up to date electronic systems knowledge to develop and then specify new lifestyle electronic systems - Research best practice and keep up to date with new technology from all areas of A/V, Connectivity, Home Automation, Lifestyle Technology - Research, Develop and Produce fully detailed equipment lists, overview system arrangements and create detailed installation drawings for each system configuration - Work with equipment suppliers to develop installation documentation and ensure sales, customer and budget requirements are met. Ensure installed systems provide a simple and reliable user experience - Liaise with Senior Design Engineers, Electrical Managers, Electrical Team Leaders, Central Electrical Departments, Electrical Support Engineers and other design team departments to ensure that system designs are developed, documented and enhanced to ensure efficient production/design for manufacture - Developing skills in the application of software programming for the creation of slick graphical user interfaces in HTML5 - Ensure manufacturer specific requirements are complied with and where necessary, equipment shall specified in accordance with maritime classification society and international rules and standards To be considered for this opportunity you must have: - A degree (BEng or BSc) in a relevant IT, Digital, Electrical, Electronic or Connectivity degree subject or equivalent (or on target to achieve this) - Some knowledge of HTML5 programming or similar - Evidence of work experience and/or placements/internships within a manufacturing or engineering or construction environment If you are interested and want to apply please call Hollie Smith on 02380 633399
