Partnering with some of the best known and high end brands in the industry, Sunseeker mastermind the entire system from concept to completion, all work being completed in-house. This particular vacancy lies within the Electrical and Electronics team and is titled as Electrical Design Engineer, however it does involve a multitude of tasks. Everyday duties will include: - Electrical/Electronic layout planning for best fit and quality of delivery - Working with suppliers to understand best means of routing and installation - Understanding system setup, including basic coding and networking, being able to advise the installation teams accordingly - Keeping abreast of developments within suppliers, in terms of products and installation A predominantly office-based role, you will work ion a daily basis with 2D CAD, Planning systems installation and routing, integrating multiple setups from different brands and ensuring that all works will mirror the Sunseeker level of quality expected by its owners. You'll be used to working with brands such as Furuno, Garmin, Raymarine, Bose and many more. Alongside the office side of the role, you will be able to go lineside to advise fitting teams on how best to install, discuss any specific networking requirements and also basic setup advice. In terms of your background, you'll be degree educated in either Electrical or Electronics Engineering and have gained a wealth of experience in either a marine, residential or high end automotive background, working extensively with top suppliers to procide works in 2D. A clear understanding of electronics installation and an ability to work with fitout teams will also be a key part of your background.
