Sunseeker are putting a particular focus on the growth of their Design department at present, as the need to evolve their products as well as design new models is what keeps them as market leaders. A number of evolutions and new models are planned for the coming years, prompting the need for expansion. The role of Design Draughtsperson (Systems/Machinery), reporting to the Head of Engineering, will prove a crucial addition to an engineering team responsible for each aspect of the range of stunning motoryachts. Based out of the Sunseeker Technology Centre, you will work on a range of exciting projects to include ship machinery, accommodation and mechanical systems. Daily duties will include: - Modelling and Draughting in 3D/2D with Siemens NX - Population of BOMs and parts spreadsheets - Troubleshooting on product placement for best performance - Working as part of a team to complete each project within planned timescales As an individual, you will have gained your experience in a design engineering role or similar within the automotive, marine or aerospace sectors. With a keen technical eye, you will be able to work quickly and efficiently either as part of a team or alone, always offering a high standard of work. Your software skills will be strong, ideally in Siemens NX.
