As a member of our team you'll provide a safe and fun environment whilst teaching a full range of youth and adult courses according to your qualifications and experience. QM offers sessions to groups, schools, corporate bodies, and private one-to-ones. Key Activities: * To organise and manage the safe delivery of the Queen Mary SC courses in-line with RYA and centre guidelines * Attend (where appropriate) in-house training to deliver sit on-top kayaking, raft building, stand-up paddleboarding and water/land based team building games * Assist in the safety provisions for Club & Open racing * Provide ongoing maintenance to the Training School kit * To deal with and report accidents, incidents, maintenance issues and potential health hazards * Ensure appropriate safety is delivered in accordance with the Club Safety Policy at all times that the water is open * Set a high standard of customer service and monitor formally and informally * To carry out any reasonable request made by line manager or the Duty Officer Minimum Qualifications: Instructor / Senior Instructor: RYA Sailing / Windsurfing Powerboat Level 2 RYA First Aid Desirable Qualifications: Sailing/Windsurfing Instructor in addition to main discipline Windsurfing Non/Planing Instructor Windsurfing Advanced/Plus Instructor Safety Boat Powerboat Instructor Racing Endorsement Advanced Endorsement Keelboat Endorsement Multihull Endorsement Sail/Wind Foil Endorsement Role Specifics and Benefits: * 35hrs/week (to include weekends, evenings & BHs) * Guaranteed contract starting anytime from March-July up until September-November * Competitive salary * Holiday entitlement * Comprehensive training & induction programme including opportunities to up-skill with professional qualifications * Access to our full range of kit (over 60 boats and 50 windsurf boards) * Full & varied role!
