Project manager required for a busy, world renowned, marina consultancy business in Hampshire. Commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham, Havant, Gosport, New Forest, Chichester. Having completed ambitious projects for some of the largest maritime employers globally, this consultancy has an exceptional track record when it comes to the provision of market research and planning into waterside developments. With a skilled team based both here in the UK and remotely, projects can be anything from a one-man project to a multi-billion pound development and involve extensive research projects in order to complete. With an expanding portfolio of exciting commissions and projects, theye are looking for an experienced individual to take on a key role within the consultancy team. The successful candidate will make a full contribution to consultancy services and will be expected to lead on the delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion. Requirements: - Proven record of Project Management and delivery at all stages of a commission - Proficient in developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships - Experience working in consultancy - Well organised - Excellent communication, both written and orally - Can work as part of a team or individually - Ideally qualified to degree level or higher in a relevant discipline, the individual may also possess training or accreditations from recognised industry bodies. The role has the potential to span a wide range of industry disciplines from data analysis, masterplanning, market assessments and feasibility studies through to marine design, construction & operational guidance. As a result, the candidate shall be required to demonstrate an understanding of the maritime and marine leisure industry and apply themselves to a diverse portfolio of consultancy projects on the waterfront. The successful candidate may be expected to represent the company at conferences, seminars or stakeholder events as appropriate. Working within a dynamic and progressive industry will require a willingness to learn and develop new skills as required. The role will involve report writing so a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and complementary software packages is considered essential. This is a permanent position based in Gosport on the edge of Portsmouth Harbour, but you will be expected to travel both within the UK and overseas as projects may dictate.
