Fairline Yachts are fast becoming one of the biggest success stories of the luxury marine sector here in the UK, nearing manufacturing capacity within their first year after relaunching as the new Fairline Yachts brand. Building their growing range of craft in Northamptonshire, Fairline are continuing to develop their in-house team both on the shop floor and in the design office, alongside their work with external partners, in order to grow the brand and further increase product quality. Within the design office, there is now an opening for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team, working across the existing and new range of yachts. With the company moving a lot of its electrical processes forwards, this role will be key in the reliability and versatility of the on board systems. Working with systems lifted from the automotive sector, it is expected that this move will offer something not regularly seen within the marine sector. As an individual you will be working across the design, engineering and layout of on board electrical systems. Working with existing third party products, your role will be to ensure that these are correctly placed and routed in order to optimise use and to continue the fairly brand ideals of offering a top specification and quality product. From a background perspective, the ideal candidate will have gained their experience in industries such as: - Marine - Automotive - Motorhome/Caravan - Aerospace You'll be used to working at a very high level as part of an in-house team, using programs such as Siemens NX and Autocad. Ideally you'll also have experience working with CAN-BUS systems. Joining a brand with a clear forward vision, this opportunity will offer the chance to be a huge part of a very effective team, with a growth potential to boot. If you're interest we'd be really keen for you to apply. However, should you have any further questions in the meantime, please dont hesitate to contact
