Berthon is looking for a dynamic boat sales executive for our new Gemini RIBs dealership, in order to establish and grow sales in the UK and Ireland to the commercial & defence sectors, and leisure boating. The ideal candidate is experienced in boat sales and willing to explore new business opportunities with existing and new accounts. Key Responsibilities and Duties: * Create and implement a marketing strategy * Organise and attending exhibitions * Work closely with the boat builder and engine suppliers to achieve maximum sales growth * Make proposals to customers * Write & submit tender responses * Grow product sales into UK and Ireland * Up-sell other Berthon products and services * PDIs & sea trials * Develop the after-market for spares, servicing, refits * Achieve year on year growth * Annual sales forecasts * Budgets * Regular reporting of customer visits * Deliver regular input to the Business Development Manager: - sales opportunities - market penetration - status of key projects - chance of conversion to orders - market trends and changes - competitor activity - feedback to the directors Experience and Skills: * Marine background * Sales experience in the leisure marine sector, commercial sector and/or defence sector * Demonstrate competence, negotiation skills and abilities in technical sales * Provide proof of track record * Knowledge of marine operators, government organisations and commercial boat users within the UK and Irish Marine market would be beneficial * Competence and experience in: - sales proposals - technical writing - completion of tenders * Excellent communication ability * Customer service skills * Ability to work alone * Ability to work as part of a team * Computer literate - you should be competent with Microsoft Word and Excel * Full UK driving license and current passport To Apply: Applications via https://www.berthon.co.uk/about-berthon/jobs-berthon/ using the application form.
